This fact is quite true that there are loads and loads of viewers who are in a deep love with the movie that portrays the alien attack on our planet earth. Keeping this thing in mind the director Peter Berg had developed this movie and had given a new definition to this genre. Definitely this thing is quite obvious that every one of us get bored out of the regular boring spree and all of us are in a big desire of something new every time. This thing was quite clear to the director so he turned up his mind in giving us this wonderful creation. They all have worked their lings out to make it wort for all of us to watch battleship online free.

Don't worry, I am very aware of FED rule 6-1-1 !!!

I just found out that the varsity doubleheader I am working later this week has one team with an ambidextrious pitcher (complete with 6-fingered glove and everything). Other than Rule 6-1-1 (pitcher must declare first) are the any other oddities associated with calling a game with a pitcher like this? I just like to be prepared. Have any of you guys ever worked a game with one?

Same is true for Dick Bavetta, though I kinda know why they don't give him Finals assignments anymore, i.e. old age.

Any guesses who will get be in the Finals for the first time this year?

Is there any type of rule stating anything about a player yelling when another player is in process of taking a shot? as if saying "heyyyyyyyyyy" when they attempt the shot? maybe it's just bad sportsmanship???

Or is there any rule in the book stating anything about when a player is attempting a shot, and the defender runs at that player's legs, but never touches them? i've seen refs warn players for this, but i'm not sure what the warning is for? the player is not touching them, but may look like he's about to take the shooter's legs out from under him... or is it a sportsmanship call?

So, I'm working some wimmens wreck (win or go home games) last night. Toward the end of my 2nd game when the loss was apparent, a player on the losing team is whining for a foul. I let her vent all the way back on defense. She commits a frustration foul, I call the obvious play. As I'm reporting I hear the F bomb & BS... before I can get my whistle back in mouth she slams the ball to the rafters. I went Darell Garretson on her, "Whack, GET OUT!"
A couple trips up & down, shes still on the bench. I tell the table crew she has been ejected, she leaves or its a forfeit.
She's asking them to see a rulebook & cant believe I ejected her for the F bomb.
I call the game, turn towards the table area, take two step toward my chair & BOOM I'm beamed in the head extremely hard by the basketball.
Judging by the accuracy & velocity of the hit I just knew it was one of the mouthy boyfriends that threw the ball. I make a b-line toward their bench area & my partner says it was the player that threw a two-handed overhead ball at me
I tell her she gets a pass only because shes a female!

This is my 2nd post game altercation in about 10 years of refereeing... yeah, both happened in the off-season.

I thought I learned my lesson after the first altercation. WRONG!
Although I had been very cognizant of my surroundings during post game, I underestimated last nights situation for the mere fact that it was a female.

Moving forward, I dont care if its a male or female, adult or child, real season or off season, I have got to keep my eyes on all players at all times!

Reading the June issue of Referee Magazine page 60 makes want to do the right thing & press charges. But on a female??? C'Mon Man!

Thoughts???

Tonight we had an interesting play in our game. Instead of the inbounds player handing it off to his own teammate, he handed it off to a player on the opposing team from the inbounds. Basically, the inbounds passer placed the ball over the line and handed it off to the defender. Since, the pass was never thrown in, would that be out of bounds on the defender? out of bounds on the inbounds passer? or play on?

Everyone just kinda stopped for a second and since there was no whistle, play resumed. It just seems akward. I looked all over the rule book and all i can find is that A.) the ball must be passed in. B.) if an inbounds passer hands off to his own teammmate, it is an out of bounds violation.

So my question is, what would the ruling be on this?

Situation in my game a few seasons ago: 2 umps. Bases loaded, no outs, home team at bat. Batter hits a liner at the pitcher's feet and the pitcher stabs it, I'm in C, so I can't really tell if the ball hit the ground first or not. He throws to 3rd, 3B throws to 2nd, 2B throws to first. I figure no matter what, I've got three outs, home plate umpire was blocked by the catcher so he wasn't sure if it was a catch or a trap.

So if it was a catch, then the catch is the 1st out, throw to 3rd gets the runner on 3rd, throw to 2nd gets the runner on 2nd, 3 outs, throw to 1st is superfluous.

No catch, then 3rd to 2nd to 1st gets me a triple play of force outs so no timing issue with runner on 3rd.

Home team coach comes out and asks us what the ruling was. He acknowledges it's a triple play on his team either way but for the book, he wanted to know how to score it. It looked like a catch to me, so that's what I told him. How would you rule that play?

Calling Dixie League 9-12 boys, using modified OBR

Have a batter that refuses to stay in the box once the pitch is thrown, be it inside where backing up is warranted or head high outside or right over the plate. Kid actually jumps back on one pitch that is over the plate and falls down. Ends up walking. Defensive coach asks me after the inning why I didn't call a strike every time the kid backed out of the box. Just to humor him, I looked it up today and I can find nothing that says once the pitch has been thrown that the batter cannot leave the box without penalty if he doesn't swing at the ball. I do realize that what the kid is doing is bad baseball and his coach needs to work on this problem.

So my question, is there any penalty for the batter stepping out of the box ONCE the pitch has been thrown, not during the set or windup per 6.02 (b) OBR? Again, he did not attempt to strike at the pitch.
