First Ejection
 

First ejection in a match in better then three years last night. JH match the offensive wrestler is applying a cross face when they go out of bounds, he then exclaims, "Hey he bit me!". I look down and of course I see a complete set of upper and lower teeth marks on his forearm. What follows next is one protesting kid and a coach shaking his head over utter stupidity.
All in all not a bad night for being on the mat for the first time this year. Because of work I couldn't attend an open practice before the season so I could get the rust knocked off.

It wasn't my match, but there was an ejection for biting at the JV tournament I worked this weekend. The biter was put in a cradle and couldn't pop loose, so he turned his head and chomped down. It was the only ejection in a two-day tournament.

Must be something in the water...

I had my second FMC (in 10 years) this year at a youth tournament two weeks ago. At the end of the first period, red was trying to stand up to return to the center when green decided to push him back to the mat by the head.

I called unsportsmanlike conduct and awarded a match point before we all returned to the center.

As green toed the line to start the second period neutral, this precocious nine year old looks me dead in the eye and decided to tell me, "that's bull$hit."

I responded with a hand to the top of the head and said, "now... we're done".
