The new rules that the high schools are using do not apply to the Jr. Highs yet right? I have not made it to a clinic yet. I know that the club rules are being used in the high school level but I am unsure about Jr. High. Can someone help me out?

I would recommed checking with the Jr High leagues themselves. Here in AZ, there is no statewide governing body for JrHi athletics, but most of the JH leagues use NFHS rules with some modifications.

I don't think this forum is going to be able to provide your answer without some mention of where you are from.

Texas ruling

This is for Texas. I can't see the high school doing it one way and the Jr. High staying witht he old way. I don't know.

Around here (Portland, Oregon) the JH leagues do in fact, do some things differently from the HS. If I were you, I'd check with your association, or with the local leagues themselves.

In Illinois, most of the junior high associations are waiting for the high schools to get "the bugs" worked out before they go to the new rules.
