Wrong Lineup sheet used
 

I know its been several years since the lineup changed from the bubble sheets to list form but Tuesday I had a JV coach submit a lineup in the previous form :mad: :mad: :mad: I told my R2 and the coach tried to pull the "I've been using these for weeks and no one has said a thing" argument with him but it failed. Has anyone else seen a coach try to submit a lineup in the old bubble form?

Yeah, right! And we're not calling doubles and lifts any more either! :eek:

Hopefully the ding-a-ling was referred to Rule 7-2 and told it's not debatable.

If you are CIF Southern Section, it is possible that the coach was correct. The section is using some NCAA mechanics contrary to NFHS rules, so it is conceivable that some officials are allowing the use of NCAA style line-up sheets because they don't know any different.

This was CIF-SS and she was using line-ups from MaxPreps which means she has her team set up and knows which button to press for the proper line-up sheet.She was definitely referred to the correct rule because the officials were under observation.Even if they weren't I would refuse to record their line-up until it was submitted in proper form.
