Question regarding hand taping?

Hey everybody,
I have a very interesting question from my match tonight:
Several girls from the opposing team had their hands taped between the thumb and forefinger and all the way down to the wrist.My question is-outside of injury do NFHS rules allow the girls to tape their hands in this matter?

It is not illegal according to the rules, so, yes, it is allowed.
