My first VB scrimmage today. How about an explanation of overlapping for a rookie? Have you ever called it? Does it occur very often?

Also, do you see very much screening?

I know these are rare and obscure incidents, but those are the types of things that can catch you off guard if you aren't prepared for them and understand how they happen.

Screening you will not see very often (I have never called it in 11 years). If you think it is happening, or if a capt. complains warn the other team, it works every time.

Overlapping will be one of the hardest things you will need to know. There will be times when thye look way out of wack, but are legal (Like a left stack).

Do you have powerpoint? It is easier to show than describe.
