AAU/JVA membership?

Can someone explain how you sign up to these leagues? I got an AAU membership but the officials website looks like it hasn't been updated for this year and I'm stuck in a loop where clicking on the paid official link redirects me to the verification page.

JVA has a referral program but no way to sign up as an individual? Do you just sign up for an event on AES/Sportwrench?

I was able to sign up for a tournament in AES, but a lot of times you'll get an email from tournament organizers looking for referees. When that happens, do whatever the email says. Not all tournaments will be in AES.

Basically, yes. As Felix said, sometimes the organizer will send out an email looking for officials, but I just find events on AES or Sportwrench on the weekends that I'm available and sign up.

You might not always get accepted to an event that you'd like to work, but just sign up and see if you get confirmed.
