Opening Day

ESPN+ has been running matches all day since 10am. It's been a lot of fun to watch teams from all over the country in these early invitational "tournaments".

I'm excited to get started next week!

We had our own Opening Weekend Tournament near here last weekend -- all JuCo, maybe 14 courts (the facility has 16, but not all were used), 5 matches on two days (and a smaller number of each on the third day).

Lots of good feedback on officiating and LJ from the likes of Felix (and others).

HS started last week (but some matches were cancelled because of the heat and non-air-conditioned gyms). Many issues with the "new" uniform (number color) rules.

So do you get to work in-person with Felix??? (Not that I'm jealous. . .)

I was LJ when he was R1 for that portion of the event. He saw me work as R1.

It was (and annually, is) a great tournament for people to get feedback from mentors who have been where people want to be. I encourage as many people as possible to try to get into it. It's a great, affordable, camp experience!
