FED R1 signal sequence

You may remember that for many years, the state I live in used NCAA rules and mechanics for HS matches. We switched a few years ago and I'm still getting used to the differences.

Ball passes completely outside the antenna on the R2's side of the court. R2 whistles, moves to the fault side, signals "ball out".

What is the R1's signal sequence? Only awarding the point (like in NCAA)? Or mimicking the R2's "ball out" signal?

R1 just signals the point whenever R2 makes a call -- centerline, net violation, ball outside the antenna...

That's what I thought, but I'm not confident enough with FED rules/mechanics to offer suggestions to my partners.
