Pay
Being new to volleyball, I have no idea what officials earn per game/s.
We get $90 to work 1 JV & 1 Varsity. For basketball we get $70 for varsity (3 person) What do you earn where you are? |
Here in NC, our pay is similar. JV-Varsity combined $83.50, Varsity only $56.00
|
V / JV is $89
F DH or F/S is $88 one official; $84 two officials |
All are for 2018-2019

Here in the RVA, the pay is: $105 for a JV/V DH. There is a breakdown for V 2/3, but I've only had that once in 5 seasons. I don't recall what the pay is for that.
|
In Alabama --
Varsity: $40/match JV: $35/match Middle School: $30/match Plus $8/day travel, flat rate So, for a JV/varsity doubleheader, we make $83.00. |
The conference I assign is paying $96 this year for a JV/V Dual. This increases $1 per year (as it does in all sports).
|
We getting shafted in my state. Generally with the association I'm in the rate for a Frosh or JV/Varsity double is $75. This includes having to do the Frosh or JV with 1 official.
|
Here in central Ohio our pay for a JV/V double (2 officials) is $70. For doing a freshmen and then line judging the varsity match the pay is $50. For doing a middle school double header (2 officials) the pay is $60 (this is the most lucrative taking into account the amount of time vs the pay).
