Two Questions
 

1) Team A's jerseys all are illegal -- the numbers are too low. Assess a red card to start the match. Can the team still use the libero (with the illegal jersey)? If so, any additional penalty?

2) Team A has an illegal libero replacement (L in for #9; #22 in for L). This is NOT caught by either R or the libero tracker until after each team has served and lost the rally at least once. When it's discovered, do we just put #9 back in or is it also a penalty / loss of rally to Team A?

I don't have my books on me but from my recollection, here are my responses.

The question about the jerseys, the team gets penalized once for all the jerseys including the liberos.

As for the illegal substitution, because the opponent already served, you would just penalize for the infraction when you noticed it and correct the players on the court. All the points scored would remain.
