PONY look back rule
Is there anywhere in the PONY rules a black-and-white description of the over-running aspect of the look back rule, as it is described in ASA 8.7.T.3.c, and if not, does that exist?
If the coach has his runner pull that stunt (breaking for second while returning to first after an overrun), I can't quote an ASA rule to him... The closest I have is point of emphasis 25.F, but that seems to be dealing with with rounding the base… |
That sentence has to do with overrunning the base, not rounding the base or stopping on the base. It's also an official interpretation. The rule is handled identical to ASA. If the coach has an issue, he may protest and let the Site UIC handle it.
