I know I've been away from this board for awhile, but it is disappointing that the board seems to be more into table pounding these days than discussing.

Devil's advocate or "for discussion" points are merely shouted down.

Too bad.

You took an indefensible position in direct contradiction to the rules book.

What more discussion could there be?

That does not mean there is anything personal.

Dakota - thank you for having an open mind on the subject and be willing to discuss and look at it from a different point of view.

I don't think table pounding has become a frequent problem.
Hang in there, most of the time we are still quite civil.

I agree, and there was nothing UN-civil about the "Pitching Question" thread.

There was but it was dealt with.

There has been an edge to posts here lately, we're better than that.

I'm not happy with the way that the thread was "dealt with", but I'm going to just let it die....
