Question Illegal Pitch

What constitutes an illegal pitch in regards to arc in
girls fastpitch softball? Are there different rules for
ASA and Babe Ruth? My daughter plays in 10 and under Babe Ruth and some pitchers are practically pitching slowpitch arc.

There are no restrictions on the arc in ASA fast pitch or modified pitch.

Perfectly legal, and fairly common in little girls rec leagues. Darn tough to find pitches in the strike zone sometimes, but it is legal.

That would be a legal pitch in all associations that I know of.

10 and under, most of the girls are not much bigger than the ball anyway! Really though, for this age, focus on the mechanics, that is where the rules apply, the arc will get less and less while little arms get stronger. The arc is somewhat expected, thus the shorter distance at this age. Now I have seen some umps call an arc illegal, but that is incorrect, and for some younger girls, it is not possible to throw without an arc.
