Illegal pitches during college games
I have watched many college softball games on TV this year. There is definitely an increase in illegal pitches verses last year. The major schools are the following:
UCLA pitcher leaps Arizona State pitcher leaps Alabama pitcher leaps Georgia pitcher steps onto the pitching plate with hands together or her hands come together immediately after stepping onto the pitching plate. Michigan pitcher crow hops and then leaps on the same pitch Can anyone explain why??? |
Because it isnt being called.

Which Michigan pitcher? Dresinga? Wagner? or the freshman. All three have had a decent amount of time this season?

I noticed the GA pitcher Sat.and wondered the same thing.
I'm surprised at the comment about Alabama.... I've watched her for a few years and haven't noticed a leap. ( |
Illegal Pitchers
Michigan #3 Georgia #12 Alabama back-up pitcher ASU #12 (Dallas) she was called finally for illegal pitches this past week-end in 2 games UCLA Believe both pitchers were illegal. Can't remember who was worst. |
Guess I better look more closely at the games I've been watching down here, mostly SEC and ACC. If illegal pitches are happening, I guess it's small consolation that even the D-1 guys are missing them.
