Runner Interference, opposite side
This happened in a NFHS game, but I assume the answer would be the same for all games played on the diamond. 1 out, runner on second. Popup on infield in the area between F1, F3 and F4. F6 also breaks that way, and the runner crashes into her. Even though not on her side of the field, still interference on the runner?

Only 1 defensive player gets protection when fielding a batted ball. If all those fielders are going for the ball you have to make a decision who you feel has the best opportunity to make the play and that is the defensive player who is protected. If the runner runs into someone other than that, you have obstruction, not interference.
