Look back rule with a twist

R1 rounds second and is obstructed between second and third. The pitcher has the ball in the circle at this point and makes no play on R1. R1 is called out for a look back violation. Result?

R1 is awarded whatever base the umpire believes she would have reached, in the umpire's judgment, had she not been obstructed.

Until/unless you see a lookback violation as one named exception to enforcing obstruction, the obstruction supercedes.

You didn't give any other info ... so:

Assuming this LBR happened between 2nd and 3rd (where the OBS was), and assuming the award was not going to be home ... OBS trumps.

If the award was only going to be 2nd or 3rd base, and the LBR happened after third - the runner would be out on the LBR.
