I did my last game of the year last week and think I heard my nomination for this years "Best Comment From A Coach: contest.

After several bonehead plays by the defense that scored a run and ended up with the B/R at 3rd on a bunt(!), coach goes out and talks to his team.
On the way back, I inform him that is a charged conference.
His answer:
"That wasn't a conference............. it was an ***-chewing"

Well...at least he was honest.....

Had a BB coach go out to the mound for a similar conference. In between half innings, he came out to give me some lineup changes and I asked him if that was a "Come to Jesus" conference. He said is was but he hoped that Jesus wasn't listening to the language he used.
