ASA Shirt Question
I have recently seen ads for ump shirts as both "teardrop mesh" and "dri-mesh".
Can you explain the terms? Is either the same as ASA sells?

As I understand the terms, the ASA uniform shirts, as well as Cliff Keen and Honigs, are teardrop mesh shirts. The ASA leisure wear shirts (most popular now is the red honoring veterans), and Officials Choice shirts are dri-mesh. The teardrop weave breathes, too, but not so much; the dri-mesh is cooler and more comfortable in hot weather.
Looking closely at the fabric, each weave is a grid of woven patterns. If the center of each pattern is circular/tear-drop shaped with multiple stitches, that is a teardrop mesh. If the center is simply a "pin hole" (my description), a much tighter pattern than the teardrop, it is dri-mesh. Again, this is just my understanding; not on the business, just an end-user like you.

I am still waiting for ASA to fully offer stretch fit caps....it is ALWAYS a PITA to order the hats and wondering if they will fit or not!

Its only the mesh they offer that way. You would think it would end up saving ASA Properties a ton of money in returned/replaced hats!

Actually...at 53, I am blessed (cursed?) with a full head of thick hair , and if I go too long in between cuts, my hats tend not to fit as well . A few times behind the plate, I have worn my plain flex fit Richardson...
And yes, my hair is straight so I don't look like this:

The leaders of the big beer companies meet for a drink.
The president of Budweiser orders a Bud. Miller's president orders a Miller High Life. The president of Coors orders a Coors. When it is Guinness's president's turn to order, he orders a soda. "Why didn't you order a Guinness?" everyone asks. The Guinness president replies, "If you guys aren't having a beer neither will I. "
