I told myself that I wasn't going to do this, but I know that the umpire will not mention it himself and I think it is worth a mention.

In the loser's final of the Delaware JO 12U States today, Del Blue worked the first perfect game of his career.

As usual, Bob worked a great game on the plate which was noted to the TD by both coaches.

Well congrats to Bob for sure. I have never even witnessed a perfect game, let alone call one!

I once (1979) saw a perfect game in slow pitch softball. Seven innings, and the team was quite repectable. They hit well in the rest of the tournament, but that game was just a crazy fluke.

Thanks Mike,

I did post something over on the E-Teamz site, but only to mention the look and excitement on the pitchers face when I asked her to sign the ball for me. That excitement by that young lady is why I work this sport.
Just a note: I didn't even know it until I got back to our shade tent.

The best parts of this are:
- That excitement ....is why I work this sport.
- I didn't even know it until I got back to our shade tent.
