Hi all!
As a coach, I have a question regarding USSSA cutoff dates and baserunning as we're considering a tournament in a few weeks. What are the cutoff dates to determine league age in USSSA? Unlike ASA, it seems that USSSA allows stealing/advancing of multiple bases on passed balls and stealing of home (like Little League) - is this correct? Thanks in advance! PS, thanks Tom for the ASA books - they were very helpful!!! |

You are correct. In USSSA the only two things that
are not used are, infield fly rule is not in effect and the D3K rule. Rule 8 Sec 12 Note: and Rule 9 Sec 2 A. glen Glad the books helped.

Glen, sorry for the name misconstrusion. The books did help as I'm trying to compare what I work in LL verse ASA and now USSSA. I now will attempt to coach in some USSSA and later down the road maybe work a game or two. It's certainly a learning process. Again, thanks for the books and for your replies to this board that helps us newbies learn the ropes!
