Quote:
Nothing, s/he is allowed to leave the coach's box to give RUNNERS direction. S/he is not allowed to leave the box to give direction to the batter. Now, if between pitches, the coach is being annoying and bouncing all over the place, use the box as a tool. Tell the coach to stay in the box. After a warning, the penalty for doing so is ejection. If the field doesn't have chalked boxes and the coach gives you the, "Box? What box? Show me where the box is, Blue", there is a simple response. Of course, quietly on the side: "Coach, as much as you study the rule book, I'm surprised you are unaware of the field layout especially when dealing with something as simple as the Coach's Box."
