You won't be seeing me there any longer. I refuse to be victimized by the trolls, so they can play in their own slop. If you see any more posts over there with my handle rest assured they did not come from me.

I quit that one too. It became a bunch of mindless drivel.

I stopped responding some months ago. I did stop by a week or so ago just to see what was happening. If that board is going to survive (or be revived) as a useful umpire forum, Gary will have to devote some time to either monitoring the board or setting up board monitors.

Unfortunately, the software he is using does not support any kind of sign-up or other security features; it is one of the oldest of the various internet discussion board programs, so to improve the situation would probably require he invest some cash in new software. I don't know if that is feasible for him.

He has my thanks and respect, though, for being a pioneer in establishing an internet forum for sports officials.

That was one of the problems on that board, you could use
any handle.
You really never knew who was saying what. I left about the same
time Elaine did.

I still check in there, as do some of the others on this board. No reason not to. I can cull through the crappola!

This is my first day on this board, and I'm beginning to appeciate the differences. Gary's board was great for my personal development. I think I'll go back and thank him for providing the forum so many years ago.

Welcome to the board, LikeICM.
