Could some of you help me to find a rule about allowing 10 & under to advance home on a overthrow from the catcher to an infielder(not Pitcher)trying to catch them stealing. Camfast Tournaments, I hear uses this rule under the NFHS rule book but I cannot seem to find this rule book. The association I am with is trying to experiment to make the game a bit faster paced. What I need is the wording for it to make it official for the association.
My EXAMPLE: R1 on second and F1 pitches ball, R1 attempts to steal 3B. F2 catches ball and throws over the head of F5 thus allowing R1 the chance to run home.
Now trying to word it and make it, make sense for everyone.
