Some of the things that make the games so interesting (sometimes) are the unusal events and plays, (not to be confused with Thirld World plays) that we witness firsthand.
Last Saturday, as BU for a U14 girls game, I had a triple play, which although it was not the first one I'd actually had the opportunity to see one, it is nevertheless always memorable. PU had the fly ball catch by the CF, then I had the back end, doubling/tripling(?) off the runners from 2nd and 3rd, neither of which had tagged up.
Then Tuesday night, as BU for a U12 girls game, I witnessed something, that I cannot remember ever having seen before. In one complete inning, there were a total of 6 pitches delivered, resulting in 6 fair batted balls, that were then converted into 6 defensive outs. Think about just how unusal that scenario really is. Not one of the batters, took a pitch, or fouled one off, or popped up. They all put it in play. Obviously, the pitchers each made 3 quality pitches in a row. Then the defense did their part with no errors. It was just an unusal chain of events, that I thought was pretty neat.

I must admit that I have never seen a "perfect" inning like you mentioned. I got close once in a LL Majors baseball game however. In the top half of the inning, the pitcher threw three pitches which ended up being 2 line drives back to the pitcher which he caught, and a weak bouncer down the first baseline that the pitcher caught and tagged the runner on the way to 1st,so that was 3 pitches and 3 unassisted outs by the pitcher. In the bottom half of the inning, the first two batters swung at the first pitch and proceeded to fly out to left field and groung out 4-3. The third batter in the inning was obviously imtimidated by his coach who was screaming at his players to take a strike before swinging at a pitch, so he stood there and took three beautiful strikes on the outside edge of the plate, so it took that pitcher 5 pitches to retire the side.

I have only had two "perfect" half innings, one on the plate and a couple of years later I saw one while I was on the bases. I've never come close to seeing six outs on six pitches.

I did once, in a co-ed slow pitch game, see someone hit for the cycle in one inning. The game was called on the "15 after 3" mercy rule, with the final score about forty something to nothing.

I just happened to experience a perfect half inning today in a Div III College game this afternoon!! I was the PU for the 3 pitch top of the fourth inning.Two groundouts to F6 and one to F4 on 3 consecutive pitches and the half inning was over.Pretty cool!!

Best half-inning I've ever had was three outs on two pitches.

The first game of the year in the year they decided to allow us to keep the outs on a BOO. B1 singled, B3 hit into a double play on first pitch and the defense protested B2 not batting in order.

I've had two other triple-plays that way, but never on just two pitches.

Runner on 1st. Batter hits slow grounder up the middle. F4 and F6 both try for it. The ball bounces off F4 to F6 who makes a "diving" stop (that means she fell down), rolls over and reaches for 2nd with ball in her glove. F4 is straddling the base as if she expects a throw, so when F6 reaches for the base, she ends up tagging F4's foot, just as the runner arrives and safely steps on top of the base. Of course, the coach (1st base side) yells "how can she be safe?". F6 looks up at me and says, "yeah blue, I was "linked" to the base", then breaks up laughing. The coach is even more puzzled by now and F4 finally yells to him that she was in the way.
