Who won?

Does anyone know who won the Women's Softball World Cup this year?
I woke up this morning and wacthed (listened to) about 45 minutes of news (including sports) while getting ready for work, listened another 15-20 minutes ion the way in to work, just finished reading my local newspaper (pathetic as it is), but haven't heard a word.

My local paper had a brief report on the game. (Hugo, I'm assuming your "question" was really to note the lack of media coverage rather than to actually ask who won...)

Funny - I saw the highlights on ESPN this morning (although they missed all the umpiring nonsense).

Yes you caught me

I saw the end of the game.....
And I admit, I didn't tune in to ESPN...

I think I noticed it more in contrast to coverage of another women's world cup sport where USA LOST but all the non-sports stations covered it enthusiastically...

I guess we've got a long way to go, baby..
:(

It was so well publicized that I didn't even know it was happening yet.

Then again, I'm not always too quick on the draw. Example: I've been seeing Hugo's posts for years, and I just got the joke in his name about a month ago. (I've been mentally pronouncing it "TAY-furst" all this time.)

Heck, I never have decided whether he was related to a French poet or a South American dictator!
