Interference with a thrown ball

Could someone please give me a play example where I would ring up a runner for violating rule 8:7:J:3 "The runner is out... when a runner interferes... with a thrown ball"

This doesn't mention intent, as if the runner throws an arm out to prevent a catch.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Runner knocking down or intentionally moving in the path of or simply waving one's hands in the area of the ball's path to confuse the intended recipient are examples.

See Reggie Jackson

I seem to recall a World Series game (I know we're talking softball here but this could be similar) where Jackson was on 1st and stuck his hip out to allow a thrown ball to hit him. In this case he was not called out but in my opinion he should have been.
