Just got my notification for HS meetings to start in January. AZ is one of the experimental states for DP/DEFO in lieu of the DH rule for 2003.

We have a very active ASA community in this state. Most of the HS coaches are involved with ASA so the transition should not be too difficult. Most of our umpires work NFHS and ASA. I certainly hope that we help implement the change permanently for NFHS. Anything that gets the two rule sets closer to each other is good for us.

Arizona, Pennsylvania, Texas - are there other states we know of that will be using the DP/DEFO instead of Fed's DH?
