Do you also call Modified? I thought since you're from NY where it's popular, that you might call it. I love Modified, and not too many folks have had the opportunity to call it. I'm sure you'll get better and more concise answers on this board, glad to see you. I know I haven't see NYSSOBLUE in a while. I believe you'll like this board a lot better than McGriff's.

I have never, to best of my knowledge, met LB. I don't know Alabamablue, TexUmp, or even you(once again to the best of my knowledge...but we do travel quite a bit and have met many many great people in the process).

I will say this as a witness for LB, I have read many of their postings for the past year, including the infamous "Foul or Fair" 08/21/02 threads. Sometimes LB was incorrect, sometimes Alabamablue, sometimes TexUmp, in any case on the "10th Season Wrap-Up" 10/28/02 and the "Helmask for Softball" 10/29/02 threads posts got downright personal on all fronts. I think everybody was wrong.

In the "Helmask for Softball" thread Alabama Blue made reference to the "Foul or Fair" thread from months earlier. This post is dated 10/31/02. After that it turned ugly and personal. These 2 threads are the ones that have caused me to come over to this board.

Now then, I will admit that we have posted just a few times as "Kellerumps" at McGriff's site, we mainly lurked. That name was only used in a very private and exclusive group that we belong to. Since then my wife and I(our name is plural) have decided to expand it's use and be more proactive in our study this "Off Season".

We did study the posts on this board and decided that it was more "Civil" and "Professional". Please challenge us and expect the same in return, however, let's not let debates degrade into the personal attacks that took place on McGriffs site.

I second the Kellerumps on this.

The issue with Alabamablue was his vendetta against Elaine. Take any one of his posting in isolation, and they look OK. Together, they were a harassing vendetta. The vast majority of his posting since the Fair/Foul thread were "gotcha" postings targeting Elaine. No wonder she got fed up and had a short fuse. Anyway, I'm for leaving that war back where it started. If you want to defend A-B, do it on McGriffs.

I never, ever, never posted any name-calling, personal attacks, nothing about anyone's family. ABZ, thanks for the kind words, some things just rub me the wrong way :)

LB, I promise to you and everyone here that I never mentioned anything outside of softball. If any name-calling or anything like that was posted under my name, I can assure you 100% that it wasn't from me. I post from 2 IPs, one is a military installation and is very unique. The other is dynamic only within a small range. I'm sure if you contact Gary McGriff he can assure you that it wasn't me that posted anything like that.

I never saw the posts you are mentioning, and I check the boards several times daily.

I can assure you that AB and ABZ are two different people. Just check the writing style. Although I hate to mention this, AB has a hard time spelling large words! ;) He also posts alot more than I do. I enjoy reading more than posting. I think you can e-mail a user through their profile.
