What are the odds?

Working an exposure tournament this weekend, at a 5-field radial complex.

Batter hits a moderatley soft line drive going foul on the 3rd base line.
Ball is about 15 feet high and about to go over the fence at about the edge of the grass.

All of a sudden WHAM!!!!

A foul ball from the adjacent field was coming our way and the two balls collided in the air.

The more I think about this, the more I wonder what does it all mean?

3,720 to 1.

Same as successfully navigating an asteroid field.

I'm wondering what would we have if two fly balls collided like that and one was in fair territory?

Yep. Same as if it hit a bird or wall or the ground.
