This may not seem significant to those who call FP or MP, but to us SP-only guys, this is a rarity.

SP league playoff game, two pretty decent teams. Inside pitch came in... And dinged off the safety knob! Never even touched his hands, just the safety knob.

Thank GOD it went foul, or I would've had one hell of a time explaining why A) this is still a fair ball, and B) it's not a bunt.

His team gave him a ton of crap for it, too. :D

What's so hard? Pitch hits the bat and settles in fair territory. What else could it be?

Yeah, but in slow pitch? They have all the time in the world to move the bat 6 inches! :p

C'mon, how many times have you made this call in SP? :)

Once, but about half-dozen times off a bat resting on a shoulder or not pulled down on a pitch over their head.

I guess we've got more attentive players in NC. ;)

Did you sell the FB call? Please tell my you sold it. LOL

I'll put it this way... It was a little louder than usual. ;)
