Just saw the play at the plate - waiting for the replay.

Don't know World Cup rules on crashes.
I'd have to see it some more, but it sure looked like like Mendoza lowered a shoulder and flew into Japan's F2.
(except for one angle that looked like she was running to the side of the catcher and the tag attempt may have contributed to the crash).

In most of the levels I call, I think I'd have malicious contact.
