Do any of you all know if there will be a school in Texas this year?

Uhhh... I think you're a bit late. :)

The ASA National Umpire schools usually wrap up in April.

They had one here in December of last year, what would prevent them from doing it again?

Nothing, really... But it's like Christmas. You're either REALLY early, or you're REALLY late. Take your pick. ;)

But seriously, I don't know if they're planning on having one in TX, but we'll find out eventually. Stay tuned.

You need to understand that Dave is referring to the season, not a calendar year.

These schools usually are not "officially" announced until sometime in the Fall even though those hosting are already working on putting them together.

There is almost always a national clinic here (Texas) in December. There has been for years, so I am sure that there will be another this year, as well.
