ASA/Umpire Gear and apparel

I know there is the website Umpire Equipment, Umpire Uniforms, Official Gear, Officialgear.com, but does anyone have other resources for umpire gear and apparel. I am also looking for stores that may have extended sizes for gear and apparel as well.

Thanks.

ASA typically only sells through their catalog and online store, though there are a few authorized resellers.

If you need something that's not particularly ASA, here are all the links I have bookmarked for gear.

http://honigs.com/browse_depts.asp?Cat=1&Sub=19
Baseball Umpire Equipment and Umpire Clothing
Purchase Officials Supplies NorthEast
Legends Athletic Supply: Softball and Umpires Equipment, : Home
Sorry,Gerry Davis Sports is closed for maintenance.
Baseball Umpire Equipment - Officiating Gear and Clothing Accessories
UmpireXpress.com
Inhouse Sports

Yeah, I shop around a bit. ;)

My favorite of those you listed, Dave, is the "Sorry, Gerry Davis Sports is closed for maintenance" site! :D

Gerry Davis is getting into work clothes for maintenance guys? Didn't thing that janitors and plumbers work clothes would be in the same category as umpire gear, but......

oh. CLOSED! Nevermind!

I was curious what sizes you were looking for, as ASA sells shirts up to 5X..

The pants only go up to 54, however, I have yet to see ANY umpire gear site sell any pants over 54...

While we are at it:

Legends Athletic Supply

Lester's Upstate Sports

Stripes Plus

Official Sports

Discount Umpire Gear

Whoops. Just notice that Dave had already listed Legends. Oh well.....

If you're into umpire gear, this site can make for a good read:

Ump-Attire.Com

The owner, Jim Kirk, posts tons of information like equipment comparisons and trends, fitting guides and technical data.

Umpire gear

I was just recently shopping for a new mask and chest protector and I stumbled upon Baseball Bargains. Great prices. Highly Recommend.

And a 5X label is probably really a 3x or 4X. Most of my ASA L & XL fit like everyone else's M & L.

Wow, this thread is older than my plate brush with the stumpy bristles! And since it was revived by a new member with only one post, I'm guessing that it was the proprietor.

Do you wear a throat protector on your mask, even if it is "extended"?
I have a Diamond, I think this one:
Diamond Sports iX3 Series face mask - LEGENDS ATHLETICS SUPPLY
I have been hit in the throat 3 times in the past 2 years, not injured, but makes me wonder.
