NFHS Rules Regarding Bats

Can someone please clarify if there are, by NFHS rule, any differences between a slowpitch and fastpitch bats? Is any fastpitch bat acceptable for slowpitch as well? Thanks in advance.

A bat is a bat is a bat. All bats must pass the same tests and certification. A fastpitch or slowpitch designation is purely that of the manufacturer.

No difference. A legal bat is legal for both; and illegal bat is illegal for both. Rule 1 Section 5 makes no mention of slow or fast pitch.
