A thrown balls makes more sense, I either misunderstood the rule interpretation from another umpire or was just given the wrong info., I found it hard to swallow this would be allowed. Thanks

However, on a thrown ball, it doesn't matter if it deflects into fair or foul territory. It only matters that it stays in live ball territory without ever having been in a dead ball area.

Yeah, I don't think even YSISF has a foul thrown ball.
