Just a little inspiration going in to the 4th of July weekend.

212 The Extra Degree Movie

Cool presentation. The weird thing is that the weather forcast here for the weekend calls for a high of 212 degrees.

Ron, I liked the video. The video has sparked some thought and reminds me of what it takes to be successful. I once had a instructor tell me "Chance favors the prepared mind" and this has inspired me to be both physically and mentally prepared to handle all situations that I have encountered. I can apply this to being an umpire; if I study and know the rules of the game, I will be prepared and confident to stand by my decisions and sell my calls on the field. Thanks for posting the video, I will try to remember that this weekend. It is going to be a hot one.

But is our job to boil and vent steam or is it to remain cool and judiciously rule?

Because if it's to boil, then remember adding pressure can make water get even hotter. :)
