Pitcher foot off pitching plate

What are the options for a coach when an umpires will not honor a protest on an Illegal pitch. In Federation pitchers can have one foot off the pitching rubber but is ASA both feet must be in contact prior to the push off the pitching plate. Pitcher slides foot and slips off giving them an extra rocking motion advantage.

Home plate said they could not see it so they passed on to the field ump. Field ump would not make the call because they do not seem to feel it is an advantage. By rule the book says it is not a legal pitch.

What do you mean by "umpires will not honor a protest"? Did you try to formally protest and they would not allow it? Or by "protest" do you mean a complaint?

Whether or not a pitcher is committing an illegal pitch is a judgment call, and not normally protestable.

You are going to need to be a little more specific in your description.

Send for the on site UIC or lump it.. those are your only realistic options.

If I were running the site, I would want to know that an umpire was saying something so stupid.

If there is no UIC, you just have to lump it and its probably not a real event anyway.
