"The Ump," which was made by Body Guard, was simply a foam pad that offers very little in the way of protection. And yes, they are no longer available as BG went out of business a couple of years back. If you want a chest protector that is good for all levels of ball, from 10U up to NCAA, might I recommend the Pro 9. It offers excellent protection and is still cooler than most "hardshell" CPs.
