Mine sure likes me going out to umpire more than she did my going out to play. Playing meant lots of drinking after the game(s) and spending a good bit. Umpiring means some drinking after the game(s) and umpire fees cover vacation costs & more.:cool:

Glad mine stays home... I'm the only plate whore allowed in my family.

My wife (now ex) and our oldest son (who was just a baby) went with me once, just to watch. It was also the last time she came with me, because the tornado sirens went off. She thought she was a curse. Turns out she was. :eek: ;)
