Anyway, at one of our tournaments he was at the "headquarters" hotel. Had to run for a kegga beer or something and was waiting for the elevator to go back up. Elevator door opens and here are a couple of players from the tournament. He recognizes them, they probly recognize him. They are, um, out of uniform as they head for the pool.

He had a hard time focusing on their strike zone the next day.

Uh,
Yeah.
Golden 18 - er, 18-Gold.

1. Never sit in the grass.
2. Never go outside without shoes and socks.
3. Real food. All lutefisk is confiscated at the border and incinerated.
4. A lot of people who have never set their alarm clocks for 330 a.m. to start shoveling snow off their cars, driveways and sidewalks.

It was pretty unanimous that GA was great for the hospitality as they were talking about various opportunities at a recent meeting. Never been there so I dont know.

Hi Scooby,

You'll probably see some of the teams we saw in Montgomery -- moving up an age group. Congratulations!

Rumor I heard is they have a hospitality hotel room completely dedicated to feeding you like crazy with a bunch of stuff, with scantily clad dancing girls, all the beer you can drink, and 3 home cooked squares a day...

Definitely not a pizza party.

So you should have a blast.

Congrats!

I did the ASA 10-U Nationals last year in Bloomington, Indiana. All in all, I would say we were treated very well. They had a big steak fry for us on Saturday night, as well as a buffet type spread everyday, all day.
