I've got some adult beverages on the porch - so they're nice & cold.

If regular chats were scheduled I'd be likely to participate.

I'm referring to a real time chat where we discuss whatever comes to mind.

Nevermind. It is a normal think you see in chat sites, meaning age, sex, location. (One person asks this of another.) I see it all the time at this one site where I go to play Texas Hold Em. Bugs the heck out of me.

As am I. Don't want overkill, so every few weeks would be fine unless someone wanted a get together for some reason. Would like to start off the first one discussing the ASA test which is available to all on-line. Of course, that doesn't mean that can be the only subject, just something on which to focus.

I could not figure out how to reset the user name. Any help from more experienced gurus?

Right click on your guest userid, change name is one of the options.

I have so many plugins and stuff with my firefox one must be getting in the way. No biggie... I just open in IE tab and it works fine in firefox using IE :)

I know there may be issues with AOL, also. As already discovered, going in directly through IE is the easiest way to go.

To change the name, right-click on the name. If it comes up "menuname" or "menuname2", you may not be able to change your name.

I saw you were on last night, but couldn't get there by the time you signed off.

Any problems? Noticed neither of you changed the "guest" name. Was that because you couldn't or just didn't bother?

I changed my name on chat, but when I came back later, it wasn't changed anymore. Do you have to change names every time if you don't want the generic name? Dave

It's been two years since I last posted, just to update. Still alive, still in the DR Congo, still teaching, not a softball in sight, would love a new rule book, it online anywhere? Just for nostalgia's sake, since I'm still the entire American community in town I don't see me officiating any games soon.

Why am I here? To get a good tan? Who knows, ex Peace Corps volunteer who got a bee in his bonnet to go back. Of course 20 years as an ASA ump might have driven me to it as well.
