WS Line Umpires
Anyone else feel the umpires in Philadelphia are too close to the infield?
It would be to their benefit to be a little deeper should they have an issue along the fence/wall. |
You feeling ok mike?
Has the impending marxilamist doom finally sent you off the deep end? |

What? The Alamo? Damn, Mike, you're showing your age! ;) Hey, I shoot paper, not people. :) And all my firearms are 100% legal. That's the only way I roll. |

One year from now, people in NC will be paying $400 to register slingshots...the last weapon allowed, as long as you don't use REAL rocks. Pine cones are ok.

I don't know about that. The pine cones I saw when I was down in NC last summer were some pretty darn mean looking pine cones! Nothing at all like the soft, safe, pacifist pine cones we have up here in Ohio.
Really! I went to pick up one of those suckers and it was as hard as a rock and covered with sharp spikes. You could barely hold one without cutting your fingers. I'd never seen anything like it and it kind of freaked me out. In my judgment...a North Carolina pine cone probably could kill a squirrel! |

I do think it is cute that the acerbic, sarcastic, and ridiculing anti-fan of MLB is watching the WS now that Philly is in it! Musta still been an edge left on the bandwagon for you to grab! :D |

Just kidding. Actually, we're pretty much consistent with the rest of the nation with what's legal. NY, NJ, CA and MA are just... just... silly. |
