Glen,

Does that apply to all the "mothers" on this forum that aren't female?

Scheduling tournaments on Mother's Day weekeds is dumb.

As the old song goes, "If it wasn't for your Father, would your Mother be your Mother, so remember Dad on Mother's Day!"

That's because you're not as old as I am.

Bob,
Is anyone as old as you? Doesn't matter - I'd still enjoy working with ya.

Steve:

All you people should be thankful to me. While I'm not old enough (just missed) to have invented dirt, I did invent grass.

And thanks for the boost. We probably would have a blast doing a game together. By the way, where are you located?

Bob........come on down to SE Texas..........

I bet that I or glen (papa smurf) could get a game or two for you........(and I would also be honored.......and I am sure glen would be too)

glen may be an old fart (hee hee)........but he looked pretty spry on the field today ...........

glen came down to my part of Tx ......... and we got to hook up for the morning........

Watched a couple of games that he called before I headed home to do a couple of honey-do's for my Mom (it is Mothers Day after all)........

I wanted to go out an hit the little white ball after that........but my golfing partner was involved in a honey-do list of his own............sigh

Bob,
I'm up here in north central Pa. For the folks who do LL ball, I'm about 30 miles from Williamsport.

Guys, it would be GREAT. But the old legs don't have it any more. Could work 3B in a 4-man crew. Still got my old rockin' chair.

The Silver Bullets (women's team) played three exhibition games at Mavericks Stadium where I do the stats. I got the crews together for those, and of course picked 3B. In the first one, i got nailed in the "tush" by a foul ball that folloewd me like a heat-seeking missile. The game was on ESPN, and someone taped it for me. In '96, the Korean Nat'l Team (Olympics) played an exhibition game against the Mavs, and I did the "rockin' chair" again.

Another way to tell how old I am; I was 13 when the cubs won their last pennant.

If any of you get to So Cal, or Vegas, let me know. If it's during the season, I can you you tickets where I work.

Bob
