:confused: What is up with the plate umpire holding up play on every pitch, standing in between and sometimes in front of the catcher. I have yet to see an official strike signal, looks like either location signals or safe signals I am not sure which.
This is why it is ridiculous for people to hammer ASA on standard uniform signals and mechanics.

Finally saw a baseball point strike. Is the point in any mechanics (baseball, utrip, etc..) manual as an official strike signal?

USSSA is Wade's kind of organization. They don't push any "standard" mechanics.
