Playoffs

Got two calls today for HS playoff assignments!! Wouldn't you know it - I haven't traveled for work in almost a year. I leave in the morning on a trip to Wisconsin. Both games are scheduled for when I'm gone. Just my luck.

Just received a call about another playoff game. The coach actually requested me (she must think I am someone else!) This one is AFTER I get back in town. Can't wait - I love playoff time. Total intensity.

Got to wondering how playoff assignments work in other areas.

Locally, the HS chapter officers compile a list of "worthy" candidates and make the appropriate assignment if they receive no coaches requests.
