Yeah. You should be on the field with them during a game when the temperature is in the upper 90's. Only one thought keeps going through your mind.....:D

Worse than that. It is the high school of the town where the beer is brewed.

The town is also named Shiner Mike.

Ahhhh..........fond memories visiting their hospitality room during college days in the 70's. Unlimited free beer.........only closed during the lunch hour when the porter who served the tap beer went to eat.

They had domino and 42 tables set up and many of the reitired men spent their whole day there.

I doubt they have that anymore.

What!?!? They never heard of a relief person or shift work? That's almost as bad as closing the bar during the meal at a wedding reception.

If you pull up the "refs" picture . . .

Scott is front row, kneeling, second from right.

Not surprised to see Walter in the row with the women. Then again, I am surprised he did not place himself in the middle ;)

While you are at it, Gary, why not tell them who that is on my right?

But I don't have any cool Shiner Bock stories to include . . .

The really big news from this thread was getting to hear from Joel again . . . after a long absence.
