Question

This question primarily goes to ISF-Rules, but I am interested in the answers of other codes too.

We had a diskussion if it is an illegal if the pitcher switches his delivery between windmill and slingshot
a) during one at bat
b) during an inning

I would be intersted in your thoughts.

Nothing in anyones rules that prohibits changing a pitching style. Many pitchers will switch styles - just to help them keep batters off-balance.

Agree with Steve here.

As long as the pitch itself is legal, it doesn't matter what motion / mechanic the pitcher used on the previous pitch.

In fact, some of the best pitching coaches teach their students to mix in a slingshot from time to time to keep the batters off balance.

Total agreement with this post and with Steve M. Keep it legal
and no blue will have a problem, change it up some and the
hitters might.....
