Illegal Bats
 
Found this article while searching my hometown paper. Can you believe grown men would actually cheat to win a slow pitch softball game. :D Actually, I am happy that someone is actually taking a stand at the recreational level.

I'd probably guess mens SP is where you would find about 80%+ of the illegal bats... so yes, I believe it.

The real sad part is reflected by the statement of that it is all the batter and that the bat has nothing to do with hitting the ball out.

Definitely not a shocker. Glad to see Tony's taking a stand, though. We're seeing a lot of doctored bats around here, as there's a guy in Raleigh who will doctor a bat for you. Freak Plus becomes a Freak 98, and so on. It's sickening.

The worst part is that we KNOW who's bringing them, but we can never prove it.
