With one out R1 on 1B - B3 hits a ball over F1's head and
into center field. R1 - slow runner gets slow start and
heads for 2B, misses the base and attempts to head back at
about the halfway point, B3 [fast] has rounded 1B and two-
thirds of the way to 2B. B3 has never looked up and when she
is touching 2B - R1 is about to from 3B side. They collide
and both are knocked down and neither or touching base when
F8 fires ball to F4, whom puts the tag on both runners.
Inning over on double tag and fortunately neither player is
hurt, just embarrassed somewhat and both get up laughing.
Another 2 games tonight. JV/VAR. I am trying to chatch up to
all the others in number of games. :)
